Triplex wires comprise of two insulated aluminum wires covered with one bare wire used as a standard neutral. Main and panel feeder wires
Main feeder wires connect the weather heads to your house. They are made of solid or stranded THHN (thermoplastic high-heat nylon-coated) wires. Panel feeder wires power the circuit breaker panel and the main junction box. They are typically black insulated THHN wires. Main and panel feeder wires should be more than 25% of the required electrical capacity.
Non-metallic sheathed wires
These wires are also called Romex wires. They have 2-3 conductors each of them with a bare ground wire and plastic insulation. Individual wires are also covered with a non-metallic outer layer. They are available in 15 and 20 amps and relatively cheaper making them the preferred wires for domestic wiring.
